West Star Aviation names Steve Goede General Manager of Chattanooga location

November 14, 2018 – West Star Aviation has announced that Steve Goede has been named as the General Manager of the company’s Chattanooga facility. In his new position Steve will provide leadership for all aspects of the site including operations, planning and project management, quality control and building maintenance. Previously, Steve was instrumental in developing West Star’s Landing Gear Overhaul and Accessory Programs at the East Alton, Grand Junction and Chattanooga locations.

Tom Hilboldt, who was previously managing the location, will now shift his focus to maintenance operations located there, providing more technical oversight and support to our ongoing expansion initiatives. Tom’s new title will be Director of Maintenance – Chattanooga.

“These promotions and refinements in responsibilities will further strengthen our technical and operational capabilities at Chattanooga,” stated Jeff Curry, Vice President of Operations Efficiency. “With the addition of Steve and the recently completed facility expansion, Chattanooga is now online as a full-service, one-stop MRO location,” Curry continued.
