West Star Aviation names John Mansfield as manager of Satellite Operations and Mobile Repair

West Star Aviation is pleased to announce John Mansfield as manager of Satellite Operations and Mobile Repair.

John began his career over 30 years ago as a Technical Representative at Hawker Beechcraft. He quickly advanced into more progressive roles including Manager, General Manager, and most recently, Vice President MRO Centres Worldwide at Embraer Executive Jets. John will be responsible for overseeing satellite operations and the mobile response team. John has 15 years of proven experience in leadership, relationships with OEMs, as well as customer satisfaction and product support.

“We are excited to have John join our team. His experience cultivating relationships with customers and OEMs will continue to help West Star grow and be successful at our satellite locations,” said Jeff Curry, vice president of Operational Efficiency, West Star Aviation.

“His drive and proven leadership experience will aid in our future growth efforts with the satellite and MRT operations,” Curry continued.

In addition to its facilities in East Alton, IL; Grand Junction, CO; Chattanooga, TN; and Perryville, MO, West Star Aviation runs maintenance operations at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, CO; Chicago Executive Airport in Chicago, IL; Centennial Airport in Denver, CO and Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport in Houston, TX.

The company also provides complete FBO services for transient aircraft at its newly remodelled East Alton and Grand Junction facilities.
