Gulfstream promotes Swift to group vice president sales EMEA and APAC
Gulfstream's G500 is now certified to make steep approaches.
Michael Swift has been promoted to group vice president of sales responsible for Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Asia-Pacific region (APAC).
As well as managing new aircraft sales, Swift will also work with Gulfstream’s customer support teams in his regions.
“As we continue to see strong demand in the EMEA and APAC regions, we wanted to create a role that would help elevate our presence and momentum to match that demand,” said Scott Neal, senior vice president, worldwide sales, Gulfstream. “Michael’s sales acumen, alongside his aircraft finance background, have allowed him to excel as a well-rounded customer -centric sales leader. We look forward to his continued success as he expands his leadership presence in these areas, which are increasingly important for business aviation.”
Swift joined Gulfstream in 2018 as regional vice sales in New York. He moved to London in 2022. Before joining the manufacturer he financed business aircraft for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Textron Financial.
